Pilates
at the Sanibel Fitness Center
The
Pilates system is a highly effective method of physical
conditioning that combines Eastern and Western disciplines
to enhance breathing, flexibility, body awareness
and control. Certified instructor Marsha Wagner
will be leading you through a sequence of exercises
that focus on posture and alignment, including advice
for individual trouble spots. Additional benefits
of Pilates are Improvement of golf and tennis techniques
easing lower back problems, developing a long lean
body without bulk. Basically a Pilate's class routine
consists of a series of controlled, precise, fluid
movements utilizing every muscle group.
