at the Sanibel Fitness Center
| Low
Impact Aerobics A
45 minute class designed for low impact aerobics. The class
emphasizes cardiovascular and flexibility training, with less
stress to the joints and ligaments. Great for seniors, beginner
/ intermediate level; some stepping periodically.
HI/LO
Aerobics A 60 minute class that combines high/low impact moves, with creative
and challenging choreography. Emphasis on cardiovascular endurance
/ fat burning along with some strength and flexibility training.
9:00 AM class is the most aerobically intense and challenging
class. |

Step
Aerobics Looking for a less dance, but intense aerobic workout? Step into
this class! With the benefits of running and only the stress/impact
of walking, everyone is sure to get fat-burning, cardio conditioning,
and lower-body toning results. Higher and lower intensity
versions demonstrated to fit the needs of all levels.
Yoga
Easy
to learn breathing, relaxation and movement exercises to increase
flexability, stimulate vibrant health and create inner calm.
Classes open to any age and physical ability. |
| Body
Shaping A non-aerobic
class designed for strengthening, flexibility, and toning
all muscle groups using various resistance: weights, rubber
bands, tubing. Classes may be modified to fit the needs of
any level student.
Short
Step A half hour class of beginning / intermediate
step aerobics. Class may be modified of intensified to fit
any level student. This class is a great follow-up to Bodyshaping.
Please come warmed up if not in previous class.
Cardio/Strength
Intervals This Class alternates cardiovascular intervals with short strength
intervals. Cardio intervals incorporate a variety of modes
such as aerobics, step, BOSU, spinning ans athletic drills. |

Looking for fast
fitness gains with no impact on joints? Try this indoor cycling
class. No biking skills or choreographic shills needed. Everyone
works at their own level and ability. Register 30 minutes
prior by phone, or get your pass when you arrive at the Sanibel
Fitness Center, Inc.
BOSU
Looking for a real
time saver? The BOSU balance trainer challenger your core
strength while giving you a GREAT cardio workout. Try it,
you'll feel like a kid again! |

Mousercise Aerobics
for children! Free to children of members and to children
at Rabbit Road Center for Children $3.00 per class for all others. Ages 4-6.
Pilates
Combines Eastern
and Western disciplines to enhance breathing, flexibility,
stretching, body awareness control, and core stabilization.
